Most Biblically informed Christians believe that this prophecy will be fulfilled during the coming 1,000 reign on earth of Jesus. It cannot be in the past because Jesus has not yet reigned on earth with believers helping for 1,000 years. And it cannot refer to eternity beyond the 1,000 years because nobody will die then and nobody will escape their eternal damnation. Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.Plagues and man-made climate change will have zero effect on God*s promises and predictions.
